Vancouver

Yesterday I just got back from Vancouver with Brig B. We left Thursday after work and had a wonderful time visiting Carmen. It was really low key but just what we all needed. It was so nice to see Carmen and catch up and relax. We did go for a couple of walks, went out for dinner and movie and played games. Had a lot of laughs this past weekend which makes everybody feel so great.

I felt pretty good while I was there, a bit tired but it was the flying that was bad. I thought I was going to be so sick on the way there and even worse on the way back. It didn't end up happening (thank goodness).

I want to give an update about Lindsay. Last Wednesday when Linds went to her doctors appt, she was sent to the hospital for a stress test because she hadn't really grown in 3 weeks. The doctor then wanted her to go for an ultrasound on Friday to make sure that baby was ok and fluids were up and at a normal level. Things went fine at the ultrasound and she is being monitored closely. I got a call from Linds this morning and the doctor called and wanted to see her ASAP. The doctor has decided to induce her tomorrow morning at 8am.....YEAH!!!!!!!!! We are all relieved as all of this going back and forth is quite stressful. So this means that I am going to be a Matante this week. SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! I can't tell you how happy I am that prayers have come true and that Denis and Linds are going to be parents. It couldn't happen to a more deserving couple. I will keep you posted!!!!
