Birthday Weekend

Let's go back to last weekend. All in all it was a really nice weekend. I got to visit with Kelly Tracey on the Friday night which was so nice and long overdue. I miss seeing that family but busy schedules sometimes gets in the way and there is nothing you can do about it. Saturday I was sick :( but went to visit with Jen and the kids anyways and it was good. Jersey is hilarious and always makes me laugh and Preston is getting so big and so cute. Love them so much.xox

Then Sunday was Mothers Day. Steve gave me a nice card, flowers( a blue one for a boy, a pink one for a girl and an orange one for me, so cute.xox) and a wedge pillow for sleeping which has come in very handy lately. Went to Uncle Vic for Mothers Day Brunch and that was nice, got to see everybody. I think Lindsay enjoyed her first Mothers Day and it was fun watching mom with her grandson. Then Steve and I got to visit with Chrissy and Dawson, it has been a while since we've seen them so it was nice to catch up. Then we had the Huska's over for dinner, it was fun and we enjoyed spending the quality time together.

Then the rest of the week happened and what can I say? I was just plain IRRITATED. I didn't understand it but I think it started on Tuesday when I got sick at work and then went for my doctors appt. He says I am doing good and I did put on some weight as well BUT he told me that I couldn't go to San Jose with my mom. I was really disappointed but because I have been so sick he wants to monitor me and doesn't want me travelling to the USA. I felt really bad and wanted to go and spend some time with mom on vacation but don't want to interfere with doctors orders. Then the rest of the week is just not worth mentioning because every little thing irritated me and I will leave it at that.

Then it's birthday time. Friday May 14/10 Elaine and Carlee took me out for lunch and we had a great time , when i got back to the office I had flowers on my desk from the best assistant anyone could ask for. Friday night Brig B took me out for dinner and I always enjoy spending quality girl time with her. She is such an amazing friend and don't know what I would do without her. Brig, Brett, Lindsay, Denis and Marc-Andre stopped by in the evening and we all watched a movie to celebrate. My wonderful sister baked me a cake and it was very good. Thanks Brig <3

Saturday May 15- I turned......don't want to say it.......yes 27. Yikes! How time flies. I had a very nice birthday. Steve had a stag for Jarrett all day so he made me breakfast and we went for a walk before he headed out to golf. Then the Huska's and Jen with the kids took me out for lunch and it was fun, the kids make me laugh :) I got a special visit from my god son and dearest friend Sarah and then Linds and Marc-Andre also stopped by. Then mom and I had dinner with dad and us girls went to the show. I got lots of very beautiful cards (and yes, i'm a sucker for nice cards) so definately like reading all of them. Yes, yes....i'm kind of a loser in that way.
So it was a very busy and wonderful birthday. My family and friends called me as well so needless to say but I'm very lucky to have such great people in my life.

And then there was Sunday........Mom evicted her renters and these people were pigs. Unbelievable the way people take advantage and don't respect anything or anyone. Spent the day doing yard work at my own house and then helping clean up the rental. I just have to say that people that milk the system will never do anything good for society and they don't have my pity. There is my rude rant for the day!

Anyway, it was also my brother in laws bday....so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK.

I also want to say Thanks to Steve for being so wonderful this past week and taking care of me, i'm truly blessed. Love you..xox
