Just reading my last post and happy to say that Sophia was born Sept 3,2010 and is now 19 months old. I just didn't have the time to keep up with a blog and truthfully I don't spend much time at home on the computer hence why there are no updates after I had her.
She is a true joy in my life and I can't imagine life without her. She is a lot like her dad.....lots of energy and spunk but has a bit of attitude (which she gets from me :( ) Oh well, at least she got something from me :) .
I am happy to say that Sophia will be a big sister!!!! We are expecting baby #2 at the end of August and we are super excited. I'm already 21 weeks and feeling A LOT better then I did carrying Sophia. The first 3 months are not even worth talking about because I was very sick again, puking away and it was SO hard. I kept thinking to myself it HAS to get better. By 13 weeks I had turned a corner and have been feeling pretty good ever since minus being tired all the time. I'm still taking the pills to help with the nausea and I tried not taking them and I was back to puking so guess what? I'm sticking to it. I had the first U/S at 18 weeks and I go back next week for a follow up. They found a cyst on babies brain and want to monitor it. It usually gets re-absorbed but can be a soft marker for other things. Keeping my fingers crossed that everything is fine. I'm feeling so much better, and I think I'm looking a lot better too. I'm not very big yet but have gained 14lbs already....yikes. I only gained 19lbs for Sophia but I guess my weight gain is normal seeing that I can actually eat this time around.
We are looking forward to the months ahead. We are working on potty training with Sophia and in 2 weeks she is moving to a big girl bed. She is also going through some major teething seeing that she got her first tooth only at 17 months old. Shesh.......Lots going on. Until next time......
