Week 26

I am 26 weeks and feeling pretty good other then I massive sore lower back.  It's certainly something I want to talk to my doctor about because my back has been giving out which has never happened to me before. I am feeling the baby move quite a bit which is such a good feeling.  I'm really trying to enjoy this pregnancy as I didn't really like it the first time around.  It's flying by so I'm trying to soak it all in.  I've seen the doctor about my U/S and the cyst has re-absorbed which we are thrilled about.

Sophia is already 20 1/2 months old and such a sweetheart.  She is all moved into her big girl room/bed and is doing wonderfully.  We had a couple nights of being awake but all in all she handled it like a champ.  We figured we will master this and in a couple of weeks really focus on potty training.  Sophia is talking a lot now.....she says l'eau, lait, chaud, chapeau, cheese, purple, shoes, bebe, puppy, lune, etoile, coeur, couche, maman, daddy, Mel, Brig, Jersey, Non, Okay, nez, bouche, oreille, cheveux etc.....she is able to communicate more and more each day which is really nice.  Learning both French and English which in my opinion is the cutest thing ever.  She still really enjoys music and dancing and is a total fish in the water with NO Fear.  I just love how she wants to explore everything and takes such interest in new things.  We are excited to take her many places this summer including  the lake, the Calgary Zoo, Kananaskis, Beaumont Days Parade.  I'm sure we will do picnics and spend some time at Queen E pool as well.
My daughter is a bit of a tease, especially when it comes to her cousin Marc- Andre.  She can be dramatic at times and definitely plays shy with people she doesn't see often.  All in all she is quite the card :)

Steve and I also have a few spring projects on the go.  We finished our new fence last weekend which looks fantastic.  We also have to get rid of our sand pit, which is more like a town litter box for cats, and build a new shed for more storage.  Steve is excited for baby #2, we look forward to the surprise of either a boy or girl.  He is the most amazing dad and I'm so lucky to have him as my partner, friend, husband.  Love you Honey...xox

Until next time.....
